INSPIRATION
Inspired by the notion of the engram, the physical mark memory leaves within us, Engram is an intimate imprint on the skin. Created by Joana Nobre in New York, it opens like a quiet New York morning before settling into a deep base where saffron gives structure and permanence. Soft as cashmere, Engram is not only worn, it’s felt, a living archive that awakens with every breath.
At its heart, leather and muguet evoke the comfort of a favorite garment worn close, before settling into a grounded base of oud, labdanum, and patchouli. Warm, elegant, and soft as cashmere, Engram moves beyond perfume into sensory memory, awakening emotion with every breath.

THE ART BEHIND ENGRAM
Joana Nobre is a pharmacist and specialist in cosmetics, marketing, and luxury goods, with extensive experience in the pharmaceutical industry, higher education, and consulting in cosmetic science.
Since 2021, she has been CEO of Crème de la Crème, collaborates with Vogue Portugal, has published a book entitled “Breve História da Cosmética”, and has presented TED Talks on sustainability and the philosophy of scent.
New York City. Café Sabarsky at the Neue Galerie, a space where culture is engineered and every detail carries intent. Upholstered in Otto Wagner’s 1912 textile, the room is built on rhythm, geometry, and modernist restraint. This is where Engram was born.
Yellow surfaced again and again: in the upholstery, in a deconstructed Kaiserschmarrn, in a cashmere sweater worn close to the body. Never neutral, yellow is joyful without naivety, bold without noise, elegant without excess. It leaves an imprint.
Artist Bráulio Amado translated this atmosphere into a contemporary visual language, absorbing repetition, structure, and restraint. History becomes system, not reference. Memory reorganized. Emotion given form.
